BELL, Rita C.- of Clio, age 64, died on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Chaplain Gene Smith officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1-9PM and Sunday from 11AM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Rita was born in Flint on October 5, 1948 to the late James and Betty (Pratt) Gray and lived in Clio most of her life. She graduated from Clio High School. Rita was a member of the Clio Eagles #3609 and the Birch Run Moose Lodge #2426. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, going to the movies, playing Bingo, going up north and loved having campfires and cookouts with her family and friends.
Surviving are: son, David Bell of Clio; husband, Allen Bell of Flushing; brothers, James Gray of Mt. Morris, Larry (Deborah) Gray of Burton; best friend, Marilyn White; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by: son, Jeffery; sisters, Joyce Johnson and Juanita Griffith.
