DEES, Ollie “Peggy” Virginia (Haddock) – of Burton, MI, age 85, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Daniel L. Cocke officiating. Interment in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-4 PM and 6-8 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 11 AM-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2017 and 12-1 PM Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, in Peggy’s memory.
Peggy was born in Wayne County, TN, daughter of the late Jessie “Bud” and Virgie (Cole) Haddock. She enjoyed reading, the flowers in her garden, sewing and making clowns.
Peggy is survived by 3 children, Larry (Chris) Dees, Jimmy (Karen) Dees and Denise (Phil) Raymond; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer Padilla, Jenell Drury, Sarah Fleming, Michele Shrader, Mike Dees, Mellissa Dees, Michele Godtel, Tammy McEwen, Larry Wood, Brandon King, Jessie King, Scott King, Tom King and John King; 2 sisters, Emily Golding and Ruth Allen; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Sherman Haddock and J.V. Haddock; long-time friend, Alton Fisk.
