HARRIS, Jean M. – Of Grand Blanc, age 66, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood
officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jean was born in Curtis, Michigan on January 31, 1952, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Allen) Boursaw and was a resident of Burton most of her life before moving to St. Helen in 1996. Jean returned to the area in 2008.
She married Charles Harris on February 10, 1972 and he preceded her in death on May 25, 2002.
She enjoyed Bingo and spending time with her family.
Surviving are mother Alice and Al Marshall;
daughters, Tracie Shauger (Steve Schumacher) of Grand Blanc,
Stacie and Robert Harris-Dunsmore of Flushing;
grandchildren, Zachary Harris and Samantha Dunsmore;
great-grandchildren, Brayden Dunsmore and Roger Harris;
step-children, Theresa Kotewa, Vickie and Rob DePreckel, Chuck Jr. and Karri Harris, Greg and Judy Harris; she had a special bond with her stepson, Doug Harris;
several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren;
sister, Cindy and husband Jerry Modin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; father, Frank Boursaw; brother, Frank Boursaw; step-mother, Ruth Boursaw; son-in-law, Roger Shauger and mother-in-law, Gladys Harris.
