JoAnn Frances Harner- age 79 of Weidman, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Isabella County Medical Care Facility. JoAnn was born on April 27, 1934 in Fulda, MN, the daughter of Earl Donovan and Edna Marie( Schellenberg) Mitchell.She loved to crochet , fish, especially with the grandkids,and loved to cook and bake for people.JoAnn was most happy when her family members were together. She leaves to cherish many memories her son Gerald Harner of Flint, three daughters; Sherilyn Lorkowski and husband Robert of Flint, Kathleen Quigley and husband David of Okemos, Robin Glazier of Holiday, FL, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Leon Mitchell and wife Patti of MN, Roger Mitchell and wife Helen of AR, six sisters; Berny Behr of SD, Pat Yotter and husband Ralph of MN, Karen Bovee and husband Richard of MN, Donna Jay and husband Bob of VA, Marjean Reker and husband Mark of MN, Diane Baack and husband Dave of NM, brother in-law Gary Horkey and wife Rita of MN, and numerous nieces and nephews. JoAnn was prededed in death by daughter Karen Harner, and sister, Earlene Horkey. A service is planned for Wednesday, November 6th at 11AM at the Living Hope Lutheran Church in Farwell. Pastor Connie Bongard will officiate, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Garden. Friends many visit on Tuesday, Nov. 5th from 3-8PM at Campbell-Stocking Family Funeral Home in Farwell.
