RIOS, ADOLPH – Of Flint, age 97, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 with his loved ones by his side.
Funeral service will be held 3pm Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 west Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to South Flint Tabernacle.
Adolph was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 10, 1927, the son of the late Evaristo and Josefa (Hernandez) Rios. Adolph proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from General Motors. Adolph’s hobbies included fishing, landscaping and community service. He was a member of South Flint Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are sons, Richard (Ricky) Rios, Robert (Marcie)Rios and Pete (Aletha) Rendon;
Daughter, Mary (Tony) Medel;
Daughter-in-law, Benita Murray;
Grandchildren, Ronald, Leslie, Tammy, Tanya, Ann and Ashley;
8 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren;
And special friend, Dorthy Brown.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, 2 sisters and 2 grandchildren, Virginia Rendon and Brandon Rios.
