McGRAW, Flora M. “Granny” – Of Flint, age 101, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at MediLodge of Montrose.
Funeral service will be held at 12 noon Friday, April 5, 2013 at the
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Flora was born in Oxly, Missouri on July 10, 1911 and grew up in Poplar Bluff, Missouri before moving to Flint in 1946.
Surviving are two children, Rose Craig of Flint,
Eugene "Gene" and wife Susie McWilliams of Trenton, Florida;
14 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren;
26 great-great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the staff at MediLodge of Montrose for all their special care.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernie McWilliams, in 1953; second husband, Bernard "Bun" McGraw, in 1974; son, James H. McWilliams, in 2005; her parents, John and Rosa Pyles; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
