GARZA, Pedro “Pete” – Of Burton, age 64, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Veterans Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Military Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be announced later.
Pedro was born in Edinburg, Texas on May 1, 1950 and was a resident of Michigan since the early 1960's.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army.
On June 14, 1986 he married Bonnie J. Vickory.
Mr. Garza was employed by GM for 15 years, MetoKote and Auto Zone.
Surviving are wife, Bonnie;
children, Jesse Garza and Amy,
Billy and wife Laura Vickory,
Monica and husband Eric Diederich;
grandchildren, Ana and Reina Garza,
Roxanne and Kendra Vickory,
Logan and Aubree Diederich;
brother, Gilbert and wife Dawn Contreras; and many other family members.
