LouEllen Marion Hosie of North Lake, formerly of Flint Township, age 80, died Tuesday October 3, 2017 at McLaren- Lapeer Regional. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday October 7, 2017 at Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home 116 Gove St. Otisville. Rev. Kay Leitelt officiating, Burial in Watertown Twp. Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday and Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in LouEllen’s memory to the Fostoria United Methodist Church. LouEllen was born in Dearborn Michigan on October 25, 1936 the daughter of the late; Frederick & Ellen (Ellsmore) Brown, and had resided in Flint Township and later relocated to North Lake. She was joined in marriage to James Hosie on May 17, 1957 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1979. She was a member of the Fostoria United Methodist Church and had been employed by Bendle Community Schools until her retirement in 1996. She leaves to cherish her memory son Thomas and wife Debbie Hosie, daughters; Joan Ketzler, and Andrea and husband Bryan Johnson. She also leave her seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters, Sandy Hansen, Cheryl Brown-Hayden, and a host of extended family. LouEllen was preceded in death by sister Marie Coxson, and brothers Frederick “Buster” Brown and Keith Brown. |
