GREGORY, Steven Roy – Of Scottsdale, Arizona, formerly of Flint, age 42, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 2:00 P.M. at Ainsworth Baptist Church, G-5114 Van Slyke Road, Flint, Pastor Tedd Culver officiating, immediately following the Memorial a military service under the auspices of VFW post #822 Honor Guard.
Those desiring may make contributions to Basis Scottsdale, 11440 North 136th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85259 for a scholarship they are setting up in his name.
Visitation 1 p.m. Saturday at church until the time of the service.
Steven was born in Flint, Michigan on October 7, 1968, the son of the late Leroy and Patricia Gregory. He retired after 21 years of service in the U.S. Army and was currently working as a school teacher at Basis Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Surviving are two sons, Kurt (Priscilla) and Kevin; granddaughter, Zola; one brother, Michael Keith (Brenda) Dery; two sisters, Karen "Wendy" (Larry ) Neff, Lianne and Sean; nephews, nieces and beloved cat, Nick.
