MILLS, Brian – of Davison, age 51, passed away January 26, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday February 2, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, 12-3 and 5-8 PM Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America or the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Brian was born in Flint, MI on October 10, 1963, son of Dallas and Carrol (Burtraw) Mills. He worked at Hamady Brothers Grocery Store, Lapeer Food Center and was the Director of Operations for Pet Supplies Plus. Brian was currently employed with the Flint Journal. He was very sociable and was a friend to all he met.
Brian is survived by his life partner, Terry Mack; mother, Carrol Mills; sister, Lisa (Michael Blondell) Kunkleman; three nieces, Kara, Leah and Ella Kunkleman; aunt, Janice (Lonnie) Remster; cousins, Tracy Remster, Michael Venable, Teri Venable, Linda (Fred) Sabucco-Daniel, Catherine (Norb) Denil; cats, Boo-Boo and Stanley; and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Dallas on September 6, 2014.
