TRUSCOTT, Myrtle – Of Lewiston, age 91, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Burial in Sterling Cemetery in Sterling, Michigan.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.– 2 p.m. 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Truscott was born in Bay City, Michigan on January 18, 1920, daughter of Grover and Mae (Hannan) Kirvan. After retirement Thornton and Myrtle moved to Lewiston, Michigan. She leaves behind her children, Myrtle Selensky of Owosso, William Truscott of Alger and James Truscott of Flint; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, too numerous to name; and her faithful companion, Tex. She was preceded in death by her husband Thornton; son, Thomas and brother, Louis Kirvan.
