Henry, Duane F. of Flushing, age 86, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Medilodge of Montrose. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at Rossell Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Duane was born in Flushing Township, Michigan on August 12, 1930, the son of Fred M. and Anna M. (June) Henry. Duane served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Chevy Motor Division in 1980. Duane was a hobby farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a generous man who loved giving gifts and was always thinking of others.
Duane is survived by his sons, Michael and wife Catherine Henry and Bryan Henry, all of Flushing and many loving friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Earl R. Henry.
