Wooten, Richard A. - Age 93, of Grand Blanc, passed away February 8, 2025. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 21, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Inurnment will follow at St. John Cemetery in Davison. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the service time on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to The Flint Conjurors Club.
Richard was born December 20, 1931 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Herman and Thelma (Zink) Wooten. Richard was a graduate of Michigan State University earning his Bachelor's degree in 1953 and his Master's degree in 1961. He married Mary Ann Fox on November 22, 1958 and she preceded him in death on November 28, 2008. Richard was a teacher at Bendle High School, retiring after 32 years of service. He served as a board member for Bendle Schools for 12 years. He was a member of The Flint Conjurers Club
He is survived by his good friend, Ricky Kipp. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, and sister, Joyce.
