ELEANOR “ELLIE” J. MARSHALL age 84 of Otisville, died Thursday, December 3, 2015, at her residence; her funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, December 7, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Otisville with Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Smith Hill Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, December 6, 2015, from 1PM-5PM at the Mumford-Hudson Funeral Home Otisville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Humane Society of Genesee County G3325 S. Dort Hwy., Burton, MI 48519, or to Pet Angel Adoption and Rescue, 380 List St., Frankenmuth, MI 48734. Ellie was born on March 21, 1931, to John and Jeanette Thor. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, watching birds, and her cats Stormy, and Pesty. She is survived by her daughters Trudy Smiley, and Robin Marshal (Pam Marden), sister Irene Kirby, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Velma (Cooper) Matthews, brother-in-law Robert Kirby, son-in-law David Smiley. |
