Lethbridge, Kathryn J. “Katie” of Roseville, formerly of Flushing, age 23, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 22, 2016, of a substance abuse disorder. Katie courageously fought this battle for the last few years, recently achieving 10 months sobriety. Katie and her family would strongly encourage others to educate themselves on addiction and seek treatment. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at Rossell Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Katie's memory to Friends of Sacred Heart Rehabilitation, www.sacredheartcenter.com.
Katie was born in Flint, Michigan on August 10, 1993, the daughter of Paul and Margo (Miller) Lethbridge. Katie was a beautiful, loving woman who loved life and her family. She grew up in Flushing and graduated high school there. Katie attended Mott Community College where she ran cross country. She was employed by Tim Horton's. Katie enjoyed reading and playing card games with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Katie is survived by her son, Carter Strong; mother, Margo Miller; father, Paul Lethbridge; brother, Rich Clemens; grandfather, Aaron Miller; aunts, uncles, cousins, niece and nephews; boyfriend, David Chance Strong; and also her friends in recovery.
