Blanchard L. “Bud” Carpenter, of Davison, age 76 died Thursday March 14, 2013 at his residences. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm Sunday March 17, 2013 under the auspices of Masonic Lodge #514 F& AM. Private burial at Meadowview Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 3-8 pm Saturday and from 1:00 pm Sunday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Bud’s memory to the Shriners Children’s Hospital. Bud was born in Otisville Michigan May 5, 1937 the son of the late; Glen and Goldie (Pease) Carpenter and has reside in the Davison area since 1965. He was joined in Marriage to Danna Richey on February 17, 1962 in Taymouth Township. Bud was a member of Masonic Lodge #514 F&AM in Birch Run; he also was a honorary member in most of all the Genesee County Masonic Lodges. He also was a member of the Bay City Consistory, Elf Khurafeh Shrine, and Provost Guard. Bud was employed by Goodrich Manufacturing until his retirements in 1985.Surviving are wife Danna, sons, Mark Carpenter, Michael & wife Nila Carpenter, grandson Daniel and granddaughter Courtney. Brothers: Wesley, glen and wife Margo, sisters Carol and husband Jerry, Connie and husband Bob, and a host of other relatives.
