VONDAGGENHAUSEN, Ella E.H. - Of Mt. Morris, age 98, died Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her daughter’s residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Flint.
Visitation 1-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
Ella was born in Greifswald, Germany on December 27, 1917, the daughter of the late Ernst and Martha (Lemke) Reimer. On October 27, 1951, she married Theodor vonDaggenhausen and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1975. Ella was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church. She loved Bingo and playing cards with her family.
Surviving are children, Horst (Charlotte) Kruger, Lothar (Margo) vonDaggenhausen, Werner (Mary) vonDaggenhausen, Theodor (Lisa) vonDaggenhausen, Irmgard (Ralph) Oestman;
grandchildren, Richard (Angela), Melissa, Michelle, Heidi (Randy), Megan (Jon), Stacy (Jordan), Caroline (Kevin), Jennifer, Theodor (Devona), Taylor, Erika (Brian), Ralphie (Robin);
great-grandchildren, Keighan, Callahan, Maegen, Brooke, Morgan, Evan, Austin, Jonah, Elenor, Zoey, Ezekiel, Christa, Dylan, Allison, Kelsey, Ella, Blake, Ralphie, and Lillian;
sister, Christel Markowitz of Germany;
many nieces and nephews in Germany
She was preceded in death by son Klaus vonDaggenhausen, daughter-in-law, Christa vonDaggenhausen and grandson, Dietrich.
