EASLICK, Gladys Z. – Of Mayville, formerly of Fairview, Mt. Morris and Mayville, age 90, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at McLaren-Lapeer.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Elders Steve & Vicki Beebe officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Graceland College Scholarship Fund, Lamoni, Iowa.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Gladys was born in Flint, Michigan on January 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Clifford and Orpha (Dyer) Vanderkarr.
She was a member of the Community of Christ Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Judith and husband Joseph Freeman of Mayville,
Juanita and husband Donald Beringer of Davison,
Bonnie and husband Daniel Sochocki of Caro and
Nettie Wilson of Lapeer;
two sons, Donald M., III and wife Katrina of North Branch, Darril and wife Cindy of Clio;
17 grandchildren;
21 great-grandchildren;
brother, Alden Vanderkarr of Antioch, California;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Easlick, Jr.; many brothers and one sister.
