Rolison Lennie A. of Clio, age 76, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Shiawassee Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 9, 2017 at Community Church of God. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Thursday, June 8, from 1-8 PM and Friday from 10am until time of service at 11 AM. Memorial contributions in Lennie’s name may be made to the family for future designation.
Lennie was born June 8, 1940 in Hope, MI. to the late Leonard and Mildred (Rabideau) Babcock. She had resided in Clio for the past 48 years. Lennie married Norman Rolison on September 30, 1961 at Pine Run Church of God. She retired from Blue Care Network in 2002 and also worked part time at Dr. Banerjee & Dr. Rubino office in Flint. Lennie was very active in her church and sang in the choir. She enjoyed camping, baking, traveling, and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 55 years Norman; children: Chris (Lisa) Rolison, Linda Nelson, Dena (Benjamin) Johnson, Cheryl (Brett) Severance; grandchildren: Chris (Caitlyn) Rolison II, Stacie (Stephen) Schultz, Tori Rolison, Dustin Nelson, Jordyn Yats, Kaitlin Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Jaxson Severance; one great grandson: John Rolison; 3 sisters Marjorie Carr, Elaine Cottrell, Janet Tobias, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son-in-law Bradley Nelson; 3 brothers Lewis Babcock, Ronald (Guy) Babcock, Orland (Orley) Babcock; 3 sisters Marguerite Harrington, Marsella (Boots) Kinney, Rita (Grace) Worthing.
