Gary Wayne Wehrly, age 67, died July 4, 2024 at home in Burton. Surviving are his sisters, Norma (nee: Carrell) July and Frances (nee: Wehrly) Lang. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Wehrly; siblings, Lavern Carrell, Darlene Slusher, Johnie Wehrly, Raymond Wehrly, Everett Wehrly, and Herschel Wehrly. Gary was a graduate from Bentley High School and Baker College. He worked for the American Red Cross until he was diagnosed with MS in 1996. Gary's loved to fish before his illness and his dog “Holly”. He loved to joke around with people and he always turned a comment into a joke. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. |
