LAFOREST, Peter - Of Grand Blanc, age 58, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Dean Stewart officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday and 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries or Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.
Peter was born in Flint on October 2, 1958. He retired from General Motors Truck and Bus.
Surviving are sisters, Mary LaForest of Grand Blanc, Ann and husband Michael Sandee of Flint Township;
niece, Julie Sandee and nephew, Greg Sandee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Margaret (Bisaha) LaForest.
