HUNT, Dennis, Alan -- Age 77, of Swartz Creek, died September 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday September 17 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home; and 10 AM until the time of the funeral Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer 's Association.
Dennis was born May 22, 1943 in Flint the son of Leon G. and Vida J. ( Blacklock) Hunt. He was employed by GM retiring in 2003 with 39 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local 659. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed Stock car racing. He loved taking long drives and seeing Michigan, especially the freighters.
He is survived by his children, Roger (Mary) Hunt of Swartz Creek, Steven Hunt of Grand Blanc, Tamra Hunt of Grand Blanc; daughter in law, Tina Hunt; grandchildren, Alyssa Hunt, Garrett Hunt (Kayla Schultz) Makenzie (Colin) Tallman, Lance Slinkard, Chace Hunt; great-grandchildren, Braislynn Tallman, and a great grandson expected in March (son of Garrett); brother, Gerald Hunt of Portland Texas; sister in law Bonny Lancaster of Davison; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Hunt; and the mother of his children, Carol Hunt in 2015.
