HILL, Robert C. – of Davison, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2014. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Visitation will be 12-8 PM Monday and 10-11 AM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beecher Sports Athletic Association in Bob’s name.
Bob had a boisterous zest for life and loved celebration. He was born in Flint, MI on October 21, 1969, son of Robert J. and Gerry (Ogden) Hill. He graduated from Kearsley High School in 1987. Bob attended Mott Community College and Central Michigan University, where he obtained his Bachelors. He then obtained his Masters from Mary Grove. Robert was a teacher at Beecher Alternative Education where he had a great love for the English language and his students who he taught through unconventional methods for great impact. He was a staunch fan of Michigan State University and loved the music by The Doors. Bob recently received an award for umpiring baseball for 20 years.
Bob is survived by his parents, Gerry (Ogden) Hill, Robert J. and Kathy Hill,; sibling, Joshua R. Hill; step-sisters, Bethany Brokaw, Sheila (Greg) Malewska; he was an incredible uncle to Emily and Zachary Hill, Maddi, Quinn Brokaw, Vivian, Juliet, Ike, Abe Malewska; many aunts; uncles; cousins and friends. Bob was loved by all who knew him.
