JACOBSON, Julie Horning - age 80, of Fenton, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at her home. Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Fenton First Presbyterian Church, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton with Rev. Lindsey Carnes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 PM - 2 PM Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North End Soup Kitchen, 735 E. Stewart Ave, Flint 48505 or Fenton First Presbyterian Church. Julie was born June 17, 1938 in Jackson, Michigan the daughter of Holden and Alice (Ventress) Horning. She was united in marriage to Richard M. Jacobson on June 17, 1961 and he preceded her in death. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan - Flint and the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor and was a member of Fenton First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by: three sons and one daughter, David and Kara Jacobson, Mark Jacobson, Michael and Christie Jacobson, and Margaret and Fred Baer, She also had six grandchildren, Rory Jacobson, Erin Jacobson, Vaughn Jacobson, Adelle Jacobson, Levi Baer and Olivia Baer. She is also survived by one brother, Michael (Patty) Horning of Brooklyn, Michigan and one sister-in-law, Nancy (Jerry) Reis of Jackson, Michigan.
