MATUSIK, Mary M. - Of Flint, age 91, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, February 10, 2019.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 11am-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 10am Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
Mary was born in Harbor Beach, Michigan on April 3, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephina (Delaney) Spitza. Mary retired from Chevy V8 Motor Plant. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family and gardening.
Surviving are children, Susan (James) Gliniecki, Rosanne Shier, Barb (Earl) LaVasseur, John Matusik and Mike (Cathy) Matusik;
13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Matusik, daughter, Martha O’Neil, son, Tom Matusik, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
