McFATRIDGE, Lowell I. "Mac"– of Tucson, Arizona, formerly Clio, age 85, died Monday, January 2, 2012 at Hospice Family Care in Tucson. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be 2 PM Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Private burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt Morris. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 AM until time of services.
Lowell was born May 4, 1926 in Missouri to the late Oscar Theodore and Bertha Victoria (Davis) McFatridge. He retired from GM Chevrolet UAW Local 659 as a machine repairer after 30 years of service. In his younger days, Mac was an avid hunter; he enjoyed being outdoors, health & fitness and dancing.
Surviving are: daughters, Janet (Randy) Burch of Mt Morris, Charlotte (Al) Haeffner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jennifer (Dale) Girard of Clio; 4 grandchildren, Tanya (Mike) Alexander of Mt Morris, Brandon (Jamie) Girard of Clio, Courtney (Jeff) Haddon of Clio, Cassey (Andrew) Powell of Clio; 5 great-grandchildren, Meghan, Ashlynn, Cash, Carson, Kaden, and 2 great-grandchildren expected in January and February; sister, Rebecca of Missouri; former wife Polly and grandson Dewayne of Tucson, Arizona; and many other family and friends.
