Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend went home with her Lord Friday, March 25, 2016, at Wellspring Lutheran Services; age 80 years. Doloris was born on March 16, 1936 in Flint, MI to the late Noah and Minnie Eisinger. She graduated from Beecher High School in 1954. Doloris was married to the love of her life, John Lewis Jr., on June 18, 1955. She was a member of the Bridgeport Community Church.
Surviving besides her husband John are: Debbie (Rick) Savage of Saginaw Twp. and John III (Kris) Lewis of Frankenmuth; 3 granddaughters: Melissa (David) McGovern, Kristi (Chad) Suppes and Kimberly (Graham) Mertz; 4 great grandchildren: Sean, Drew, Avery and Harper and 1 brother: Ken (Kathleen) Eisinger.
Doloris was preceded in death by brothers: Duane Eisinger and Gerald Eisinger and father and mother in law John Sr. and Wilma Lewis.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 12:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. The Rev. Ron Sinclair will officiate with burial in Flint Memorial Park. Doloris’s family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 10am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Bridgeport Community Church.
