MASSAR, Josephine Jane - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, January 27, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 East Fifth Avenue, Flint,
Father Zachary Mabee officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Genesee County Humane Society.
Josephine was born in Flint on June 20, 1928, the daughter of the late Peter and Jane (Vanadia) Jordan. On June 25, 1949, she married Steven V. Massar at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint.
Mourning her loss are children, Raymond Massar of Grand Blanc, Richard Massar of Edinburg, Texas, Ronald (Tammy) Massar of Clarkston;
grandchildren, Michael Massar and Robert Massar.
sister-in-law, Anne Turgeon;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steven V. Massar, brother, John Jordan, and sister, Frances Ferrara.
