Shirley E. Whitehead, age 88 of Davison, died August 9, 2024 at Angel Manor. Her funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Vision Pointe Assembly of God church in Otisville. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 11AM until the time of her service at the church. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park on Friday, August 16, 2024. Shirley was born on November 28, 1935 in Flint, MI to Harry and Ruby Carpenter. She was a member of Vision Pointe Assembly of God church. she worked in the cafeteria at Lakeville Schools. She enjoyed baking and decorating elaborate cakes for many special occasions. Shirley loved spending time with and being surrounded by her family, but most of all, she loved the Lord.
Shirley is survived by her sons: Aurbon Whitehead, Jr. and Dan (Diane) Whitehead: grandchildren: Ron, Jason, Shawn, Jeremy, Amanda, Janelle, Heather, Amber, Cassie, and Melanie; 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurbon; son, Randy; and her brothers and sisters. |
