Rokita, Steven M. of Flushing, age 52, died Saturday, June 30, 2012 at his home due to a cardiac arrest. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Rossell Funeral Home. Fr. Francis George will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Steven was born in Saginaw, Michigan on June 1, 1960, the son of Joseph and Marian (DuFore) Rokita. He married Denise Clarke Eastman on June 11, 2003. Steven loved music and playing his guitars.
He is survived by his wife, Denise; children, Elizabeth Rokita, Ann and husband Jason Simpson, Daniel Eastman; parents, Joseph and Marian Rokita; brothers, Greg and wife Jan Rokita, Jim and wife Linda Rokita, Christopher Rokita, Robert Rokita; sister, Susan and husband Mark Rouch; mother-in-law, Evelyn Clarke; sisters-in-law, Darla Clarke, Debra Bonter, Diane and husband Don Domick; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
