RINZ, Kimberly Kay – of Highland, age 56, died January 28, 2020 at DMC Huron Valley Sinai Hospital. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 31, 2020 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Gunnell Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.
Kimberly was born October 20, 1963 in Flint, Michigan to the late Earl and Marcella (Maitland) Severn. She grew up in Millington, Michigan and graduated from Millington High School with the class of 1981. Kimberly worked for GM for 24 years, currently as a Test Car Driver at the Milford Proving Grounds. She was a member of the UAW and the Moose Lodge # 2235 in Harrison, Michigan. She enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing, gardening, and really lived life to the fullest. Kimberly was a free spirit, creative, smart, strong, and independent. She never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went.
Surviving are: Siblings, Cindy Hemmes, Ronnie (Patty) Severn, Lonnie (Cindy) Severn, Victor (Kenitha) Severn; Nieces and Nephews, Shannon (Erik) Kaiser, Sandy (Joe) Johnson, Robert (Sheri) Gilmore, Christie (Curt) Thomas, Michael (Beth) Severn, Lonnie Severn Jr., Sabrina (Scott) Hartman, Julie (Matt) Wilkinson, Jill Severn; several Great Nieces and Nephews and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews; Friends, Dan Rinz, Frank Ziemba, Gene Jankovic, Melanie Sword, Gabriella Morris, Dora Wright, Pam Hillock.
