BOHMS, Leon Clare - Age 85, of Grand Blanc, died December 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church 515 Bush Ave. Grand Blanc. Rev. Julius Del Pino officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Monday, December 12 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint, and from 10AM until time of service Tuesday at church. Leon was born April 21, 1931 in Davison, the son of Carl C. and Marvel (Bostater) Bohms. He married Sharon R. (Crawfis) on January 5, 1973 in Toledo, Ohio. Leon worked in roofing for years, and he owned and operated Bohm's Bodyshop for many years. He served in the US Navy with the rank of Corpsman in Korea. Leon was a member of Fenton VFW, Marine Corp's League, The MIlitary Order of the Purple Heart and of the Chosen Few. He enjoyed country bluegrass music, crossword puzzles and was a sports fan. Surviving are his wife of 43 years Sharon; children: Aaron (Sherry) Bohms, Rebecca (John) Drinkwine, Eric Bohms, Daniel Bohms, Patrick Bohms, and Kevin Bohms; all of Flint; step-children, Tracy (Stephanie) Blouir of Davison, Keith Riley of Swartz Creek, Deborah Riley of Swartz Creek; two brother-in laws, Warren (Pat) Crawfis of Fort Wayne, IN., Edwin (Sharon) Woodward of Marion, MI.; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Leon was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Dorothy, Ellen, Margarite, Mary; brothers, Fred and Bob. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
