Minor Michael Tennant, age 66 of Mt. Morris, Michigan won his battle with cancer surrounded at home by family on May 8, 2020. Minor attended Salem Lutheran Church and was honored to be a Navy veteran. He was proud to be in many clubs including the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and Eagles. Minor loved his job as a maintenance Supervisor for many years.
Minor leaves behind the love of his life, Kellie Tennant (Hill). His pride and joy, his children, Charity Tennant, Robert Tennant, Ashley (CJ) Milton. His heart belonged to his grandchildren, Emilee Hanshaw, Hunter Milton and Hudson Milton. He also shares life long memories with his sister, Susan (Ronald) Hourtierre, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Awaiting him in Heaven are his parents, Robert Tennant and Zelma Jones, brother, Jimmy Burns and sister, Judy Rozell.
Minor never met a stranger - to know him was to love him. Minor had many loves, his biggest joy being his family and also his friends. If it was a nice day, you would always find Minor on the golf course and if you think you could golf without him breaking out his secret stash of Fireball, you were wrong. He was a proud Shriner and loved his family joining him at the circus. Minor's summers were spent camping with family where if he wasn't playing cards, you could find him doing anything his grand kids could talk him into. He sure enjoyed his home away from home. Minor will never be forgotten, including his laugh.
Private services will be held at Brown Funeral Home with burial to take place at Flint Memorial Park.
