FAIRWEATHER, Mary K.- of Clio, age 68, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at McLaren Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, on Thursday September 27 2012 at SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Peck at 3:30PM. Fr. Charles Hammond officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3-9, with a Rosary service at 8PM lead by Sister Lucille D’Amelio. She will lie instate at the church on Thursday from 10:30 until time of service. Mary was born in Sandusky on September 18, 1944 to Louis and Rose (Benda) Kovach. She married Bruce Fairweather on August 5, 1967 in Sandusky. Mary retired from teaching after 11 years. Mary was a member of St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: husband, Bruce; children, Bronwyn (Jason) Jackson of Modesto, CA, Kristine (Ed) Blitt, Brian (Allyson) Fairweather; 7 grandchildren, Rachel, Benjamin, Tegan, Elias, William, Brendan and Tyler; mother, Rose Kovach of Sandusky; brothers, Louis Kovach, Ronald (Bonnie) Kovach, Jerry (Janet) Kovach; several nieces and nephews.
