PETERMAN, Donna (Luce) – of Punta Gorda, FL, age 73, passed away October 8, 2018 at Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte, FL. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Community of Christ Church, 2120 Wilmar St., Burton, MI. Visitation will be from 1 PM until time of the service on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
Donna was born in Flint, MI on October 11, 1944, daughter of the late John and Beulah (Wilcox) Luce. She graduated from Kearsley High School in 1962. She married Kim Lewis Peterman on August 15, 1964. Donna and Kim lived in Davison for 25 years and have resided in Florida for the last 30 years. She served as secretary of the Peace River Civic Association. Donna was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a knack for decorating and doing home improvement projects. Donna enjoyed golfing, traveling, crafting and spending time with her family and friends.
Donna is survived by her husband, Kim; son, Michael (Alicia) Peterman; grandchildren, Taylor Peterman and Haylee Peterman; great-grandson, Skyler Bertrand; sisters, Mary Uptegraff, Katherine McGinnis and Lola Robson; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Peterman; parents, John and Beulah (Wilcox) Luce; brother, Robert Luce.
