HOVEY, Donna I. – of Mt. Morris, age 86, passed away February 15, 2012 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Clarence Moorhouse officiating. Burial will be in Smith Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday; 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. A Clio VFW Post #1452 Ladies Auxiliary Service will be held 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Donna was born in Jasper Twp., MI on July 23, 1925, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Woodcock) Ledrow. Donna Ledrow married Evans E. Hovey on January 21, 1950. Evans preceded her in death on August 2, 1999. Mrs. Hovey was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene and the Clio Ladies Auxiliary. She worked at Ternstedt Fisher Body, retiring with 23 years of service. Donna enjoyed shopping, watching Dancing With the Stars and working puzzle books. She dearly loved her family.
Donna is survived by her children, Carla (Herb) Dahn, Jennifer Crane, Dawn (Rick) Jean and Lorie (Gene) Pincomb; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Painter and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Bill Hovey and brother, Elwyn Ledrow.
