Adams, Sharon Lee, age 75, of Davison, Michigan died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Providence Hospital of Southfield. Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Terry Bate will officiate. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday until the time of the service. Burial to follow at Flushing Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Sharon was born in Flint, Michigan on November 7, 1943 to Peter and Pansy (Floyd) McBride. She graduated from Northern High School in 1962. She married Jerry Adams on April 27, 1963. They were married for 30 years and had two children, Tanya Marie and Travis Mark. Sharon was a homemaker for many years. She returned to the work force as a bookkeeper for Faris Furniture, where she worked for almost 20 years. Sharon also worked for Delphi until retiring in 2009. Throughout her retirement she enjoyed doing whatever she wanted whenever she wanted. Those who knew Sharon would describe her as a thoughtful, generous and fun-loving woman. She enjoyed a great many things including, collecting tea pots, angels and items relating to Paris; family gatherings and spending time with her friends.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tanya (David) Peet; granddaughters, Caitlin and Lacie Peet; brother, Dana (Connie) McBride; niece, Amanda (Jamie) Maynard; great-nephews, Hunter, Dane, and Colt Maynard. She was preceded in death by her son, Travis, her best friends Sandy and Kathy and her parents. The family sends a special thank you to Candie Shepherd, a long time friend and supportive ally in Sharon’s battle with cancer. |
