STEPANICK, Patricia – of Flint, age 79, passed away July 16, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at St. John Vianney, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, MI 48504; Fr. Thomas Firestone celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM on Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM on Wednesday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Thursday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Patricia was born in Flint, MI on March 4, 1938, daughter of the late Vincent and Annette (Raczek) Bochanski. She married John Stepanick, Jr. on September 15, 1962 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2016. Patricia retired from GM and worked at the Visually Impaired Center and the Flint Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Rosary Society at All Saints Catholic Church for over 25 years. Patricia was an excellent seamstress and had a love for cats. She was affectionately known as the “Crazy Cat Lady.” She enjoyed camping, gardening and going to the Clio Senior Center.

Patricia is survived by her son, Kevin; daughter, Karin (Bryan) Davis; grandchildren, Christopher, Gabryel, Laurin and Taylor; sister, Barbara (Sam) Yanta; nieces and nephews, Christine, Diane, Brenda, Sam Jr., David and Chuck.
