ROSE, MICHAEL EDWARD – Of Flint, age 76, died Saturday, August 24, 2024 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Dr. Max B. Hayden officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions for his granddaughter’s
college fund, Averi.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 and 1 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Michael was born in Flint, Michigan on August 24 1948, the son of the late Leon R. and Charlotte T. (Neuville) Rose.
Michael worked for GM for 38 years. He started at Chevy in the Hole and retired from Grand Blanc-Cadillac as a Millwright and was a member of UAW #659.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, pick-up trucks, NASCAR and Western Gun Smoke.
He was a supportive father and grandfather.
Surviving are children, Aron Rose and Trina Allen-Rose;
bonus daughters, Danielle MacArthur and Courtney Wade;
granddaughters, Leah Rose and Averi Anarose;
siblings, Sue Weaver, Pat (Jeanine) Rose and Carrie Rose.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; brothers, Carl and Dan Rose.
