Pettegrew, Patrick J. Of Flushing, age 59, died Monday, September 28, 2020, at his home. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Patrick was born in Flint, Michigan on October 1, 1960, the son of James and Frances (Andrews) Pettegrew. He married Mary Sarka on October 31, 1987. Patrick owned and operated Paint Plus. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, spending time at their cabin in Marion and traveling, especially to Big Bay. Patrick was the life of the party, always making other people laugh and was a friend to all.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; mother, Frances Pettegrew; sisters, Elizabeth and husband Harry Hart, Kitty Pettegrew; brothers-in-law, Dennis and wife Sue Sarka, Jim and wife Patty Sarka; several nieces and nephews; many close friends; and beloved dog, Emmett. Patrick was preceded in death by his father, James. |
