GUSTAFSON, George R. “Bob” – of Davison, age 81, passed away January 5, 2019 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd., Flint; Pastor Gary L. Beck officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons or Church Endowment.
Bob was born in Chicago, IL on March 22, 1937, son of the late George and Margaret (Anderson) Gustafson. He married Judith Berry on June 20, 1964. Bob was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth Wood Carvers and was very involved with the Gideons. He was a Chemical Engineer with GM before retiring after 34 years of service.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judith; sons, Berry (Liz) Gustafson and Erik (Gretchen) Praeger; grandchildren, Keely, Miles, Nate and Clara; goddaughters, Michele, Lauren and Elizabeth Igram.
