YEASTER, Gerald E. – of Montrose, age 74, died Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw. The family will greet friends at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Sunday from 2-5PM. Contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 8101 Poellet Rd., Birch Run, MI 48415.
Gerald was born January 15, 1937 to the late Everett and Evelyn (Barber) Yeaster. He married Joanne on September 23, 1978. He retired from Chevrolet, Flint Manufacturing.
Surviving are: wife, Joanne; children Kathryn (Dan) Beck of Macomb, Ann Davis of Chesaning; grandchildren, Nevin, Steve (Kelly) and Bryan Hudson, Sarah and Cole Davis; great grandchildren, Isabella and Michael Hudson; brothers, Don (JoAnn) Yeaster of South Branch/Arcadia, FL, David (Connie) Yeaster of Montrose; sisters-in-law, Donna Yeaster of Montrose, Jean Montgomery, Marjorie Cockerill both of Caro and Marian (Dale) Sylvester of Westlake, OH/Ft. Myers Beach, FL; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Wayne and sisters, Joyce and Vera Yeaster.
