BREWER, Harold David – of Davison, MI, raised in Millington, MI, age 68, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Community Baptist Church, 3104 North Oak Road, Davison, MI 48423; Dr. Lance Fischer officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery; Pastor Jeremy Dahlquist officiating. The family will receive visitors 12-4 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2020 and 10 AM-12 PM Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Community Baptist Church.
Harold was born in Flint, MI on November 5, 1951. He has been married to Pam for 40 years. Harold retired from Buick in 2005 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Community Baptist Church. Harold enjoyed old cars, tractors and trucks; his passion was “Junking”. Harold loved to argue over watching wrestling or Larry’s Diner on RFD TV. He almost never missed the 6 o’clock news for the weather. In his younger years, he never missed a deer hunting season or fishing until he lost his hunting buddy, Richard. He played many roles including helping raise Cathy, Becky and Heidi Griggs and accepting Kerry Vaughn into our lives. His love was babies and small children, he could always put a smile on every baby’s face.
Harold is survived by his wife, Pam; children, Brandy (Brent) Renshaw, Mark Messenger, Elizabeth (Robert) Hill, Peter (Erinn) Brewer, William (Denise) Brewer and Christian (Lulu) Brewer; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; brothers, Duane (Donna) Brewer, Darwin (Sue) Brewer, Ronnie Brewer, Patrick (Linda) Brewer and Ralph McCool; sister, Margie (Jack) Hull; many nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Everett Brewer; daughter, Terry Whitte; brothers, Donnie Brewer and Tommy Brewer; sister, Betty Tag and his best friend and brother, Richard Brewer.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Sarah C. and her team at Heartland Hospice. Also, Aunt Deanna for your sleepless nights and standing with us through it all until the end.
