DOYLE, William O. – of Clio, age 82, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Whispering Pines of Lapeer. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Whispering Pines of Lapeer.
William was born August 26, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to the late James and Emmagene (Barlow) Doyle. He married Ruthann Seipherlein on February 16, 1962 in Mt. Morris. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2013. Mr. Doyle is a U.S. Army Veteran. William retired from Buick with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599. He enjoyed golfing and was a longtime member of Vienna Greens Golf Course in Clio. William was a huge sports fan. He enjoyed fastpitch softball and spending his winters in Florida. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Sons: Gary (Karen) Doyle, Billy (Nadia) Doyle, Marvin Doyle (Gwin), and Rod Doyle (Laurie); Grandchildren: Adam (Alissa), Andrew, Jessica, Danielle (Zac), Maria, Nicholas, Haley, and Crystal; Great grandchildren: Adelyn, Emery, Taylor, Kennedy, Riley, Owen, Eliott, Ashlynn, and Isabella; Brothers: Jim Doyle, Louie (Carol) Doyle, John Doyle, and Denny Doyle. William was also preceded in death by: Brothers: Bob Doyle, Chuck Doyle, Tom Doyle, Ed Doyle, Joe Doyle, and Kenneth Doyle; Sister, Marygene Doyle.
