CREWS, Wanda – of Mt. Morris, formerly of Clio, age 77, died Friday, October 25, 2024, at McLaren Flint. Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Larry Nelson officiant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11AM until the time of service at 2PM. Honoring Wanda’s wishes, cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
Wanda was born on December 5, 1946, in Goodrich, to the late Michael and Clara (Sellers) Nemes. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School and attended Baker College and Ross Medical School in Flint. On January 1, 1977, she married Jack “Earl” Crews, and together they shared 41 years of marriage. She and Earl were lifelong members of the Bray Road Baptist Church in Clio. Earl preceded her in death on January 10, 2018. Wanda proudly worked as a secretary at Clio Chrysler and Randy Wise Chrysler for many years. She enjoyed being outside camping with her grandchildren, tending to her flower gardens, or relaxing indoors catching up on her favorite TV shows. Her family was her pride and joy, and she absolutely loved attending school games for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews – Wanda was their biggest fan at every event. She was an amazing woman who can never be replaced and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
Wanda is forever remembered by her Children: Michael (Ruthie) Redick, Catherine (David) Logan, Robert (Sarah) Redick, and Michelle (Howard) Stitzel; Grandchildren: Megan (Tyler) Logan, Brennan Logan, Jillian (Miguel) Salinas, Emily (Morgan) Reaume; Great-Grandchildren: Jackson, Maria, Oliver, and Baby Karah; Brother, George (Louellen) Nemes; Sister: Alice (Roger) Redick; Special Nieces and Nephew: Dawn Thompson, Brian Redick, Christina Lorenz, and Julianne Pedrin; Many beloved great nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Crews; Parents, Michael and Clara; Brother, Walter Nemes; Son, Michael Crews. |
