JACOBI, Darlene A. – of Millington, age 78, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her residence. Funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Monday, March 10, 2014 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery in Flint. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4PM until 8PM, Sunday from 1PM until 8PM and on Monday at the church from 9AM until the time of service at 10AM. Contributions may be made to McLaren of Flint's Heart and Vascular Center.
Darlene was born on June 6, 1935 to the late Otto and Ethel (Monison) Streich. She married William Jacobi on September 15, 1956 in Flint, Michigan and they enjoyed 57 years together. Darlene worked at Bronner's for 19 years. She was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Darlene enjoyed cooking, baking and game shows, especially jeopardy.
Surviving are: husband, William; children, Kim (Mark) Springer of Millington; Christopher (Linda) Jacobi of Clio, Lisa (Virgil) Sheppard of Birch Run, Susan Jacobi of Mt. Morris, Rebecca (Ed) Kohlhoff of Bridgeport, Bill (Amanda) Jacobi of Millington; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte (Joe) Eremia of Flint.
