JUSTICE, Elizabeth Dean – of Davison, age 81, passed away November 14, 2019 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Paul Mabry officiating. Burial will be in a family cemetery in Kentucky. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Justice Family Trust.
Elizabeth was born in Bardo, KY on October 30, 1938, daughter of the late Virgil and Anna B. (Tye) Mays. She married Sidney Grant Justice on February 19, 1958 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2019. Elizabeth was a daughter of a pastor, a prayer warrior and a deaconess. She was involved in AGAPE & AGLOW at her church. Elizabeth was compassionate, loving and trusting. She was an advocate for everyone, never picking sides. Most importantly, Elizabeth was a great homemaker and the best mom ever.
Elizabeth is survived by four children, Anita Merriwether, Yvette (Marcus Jackson) Justice, Craig Justice and Keith (Tammy) Justice; two grandchildren, Jaamel Merriwether and Erica Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Dominic, Kieana, Allana and Rylan; ; two sisters, Mary Alice and Omega; two brothers, Curtis and Tommy; many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives; friend of the family, John Bissonnette. She was preceded in death by her brother George A. Mays.
