PICKETT, Karen Denise (Land) – of Davison, MI, age 68, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Robert C. Bacik officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-3 PM & 5 PM-8 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 and 10-11 AM Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home.
Karen was born in Flint, MI on August 24, 1949, daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Gauthier) Land. She married Ronnie Pickett on June 15, 1968 in Clio, MI. Karen graduated from Clio High School Class of 1967 and was a member of the Mustang Sally’s. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, walking on the beach, collecting rocks and was a fiercely competitive board gamer.
Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronnie; 3 sons, Mark (Sarah), Brett (Amber) and Scott (Ramiz) Pickett; 8 grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Gabriel, Jasmine, Damian, Paige, Griffin and Bela Pickett; 2 sisters, Cheryl Allen and Margaret (Scott) Castle; many other loving family members and friends.
