HARPER, Karaleena Joyce - Age 69, of Durand, died Sunday March 24, 2019. Memorial service for our beautiful guardian angel at my home 2PM Sunday March 31 5338 South County Line Rd., Durand. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. I.L.O.F. we are asking that friends and family give a hand written memory and or a photo of our mother for us to enjoy. We feel an overwhelming amount of love and support that I can not put into words how much it all means to us during this most difficult time. Karaleena was born in Pontiac, MI the daughter of the late Raymond Oscar and Katherine Lena (Caudell) Skaggs. She married Lonnie Harper on January 10, 1967 in Flint. Karaleena enjoyed quilting, drawing and playing games with family and friends. She retired from Manpower with 15 years of service. Surviving are: son, Lonnie (Amy) Harper Sr. of Gaines; daughters, Connie (Joe) Baker of Swartz Creek, Jennifer (Larry) Emmerling of Durand; grandchildren, Lonnie Ray Harper II, Johnathan Harper, Hannah Baker, James Emmerling, Bonnie (Danilo Milacic) Emmerling, Joseph Baker, Joshua Emmerling, Zachary Harper, Dustin Harper; great grandchildren, Lonnie Ray Harper III, Monica Harper, Brighton Harper and Ethan Harper; She is also survived by her brother, Rayjay Skaggs.
