EDWARDS, Mark S. – of Flint, age 62, passed away January 19, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center. A Prayer Service followed by Military Honors will be held 7PM Friday, January 22, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Visitation will be 4-8PM Thursday and 11AM-2PM & 4-7PM Friday. Cremation will follow the service.
Mark was born in Flint, MI on July 22, 1953, son of the late Jules and Jeannie (Nichlas) Edwards. He married Ellen Stefanic on November 4, 1977. Mark served in the United States Army. He loved fishing and being outdoors. Mark was a GM/Delphi retiree after many years of service.
Mark is survived by his wife Ellen; children, Joseph E. (Breanne) Kirkwood, Kelly B. Palmer, Cassandra Wilson; grandchildren, Amanda Kirkwood, Joey and Amanda Whichard, Leonard and Douglas Pray, Tyler Kirkwood, Bailey Palmer, Ally and Logan Wilson; sister, Melinda and Michelle Edwards; many other family members. He was preceded in death by his son Martin in 2015.
